The Concept Phase

The first phase of the design development is the Concept Phase. The primary objective of this phase is to build a strong body of information on the project, the industry and the goals and challenges that the client might have. It is important to get a full overview on the clients’ strategies and objectives to ensure the design is fully in-line with the vision.

Time:

Typically 1-3 weeks

The Design Phase

The second phase of the design development is the Design Phase. The foundational work from the previous phase can now be explored and further developed into a unique concept and subsequently developed into a tailor-made design. During this phase floor plans, 3d visuals, initial specifications for materials, furniture and lighting will be proposed and presented. 

Time:

Typically 3-6 weeks

Space planing | Designing | Presenting

Creating a custom creative design

03.

The Technical Phase

The final phase of the design process is the technical phase. During this stage all the details of the design  will be determined, from the technical and details drawings, all the way down to the specification of all materials, furniture and lighting. Approvals on these documents are required from the client as well as approvals from the landlord and authorities are needed before the build can start.

Time:

Typically 3-5 weeks
