The Brief
Following the success of our first commission with this client on the Caspian coast, Ten Eight was invited to design a new residential landmark in Tehran’s most prestigious address: Fereshteh. The brief was as ambitious as the location. A G+10 residential tower with five levels of underground parking, positioned to become a defining new presence in the neighbourhood. But more than the architecture itself, it was the amenity programme that set this commission apart. The client wanted a residential building that offered its occupants the daily experience of a five-star hotel: a rooftop garden, a rear garden with pool, a padel court, meeting rooms, office spaces, a gym, a cinema room, a spa, and a multipurpose event room — all delivered at ground and rooftop level. Above, ten residential floors, each holding two exceptional four-bedroom loft residences, fully fitted with the latest in home automation, magnetic lighting, and premium kitchen technology. Everything about the brief pointed to a singular ambition: to create the finest residential address in Tehran.
The Approach
The tower’s identity begins with its facade — the most sculptural we have designed to date. Rounded rectangular ring frames wrap the elevation floor by floor, alternating and layering to give the building a strong three-dimensional rhythm. At night, integrated illumination brings the rings to life, transforming the tower into a landmark visible across the district. Architectural jewellery at building scale.
The Approach
Inside the residences, premium Iranian marbles, neutral grey and warm timber veneers, and considered accents of tangerine thread warmth through the composition. Each four-bedroom loft delivers floor-to-ceiling glazing, generous open-plan living, a sculptural marble kitchen island, integrated home automation, and magnetic track lighting — every apartment delivered fully fitted, ready to inhabit.
The Outcome
Didar Fereshteh sets a new benchmark for residential architecture in Tehran. A ground-up commission delivered end-to-end by Ten Eight — architecture, facade, interior design, landscape, and the full amenity programme — coordinated as a single cohesive vision, and executed at a level the market has not previously seen. It is also the second full-scope architectural commission for a client who has since become one of our most trusted partners — a body of work that began on the Caspian coast, took its most ambitious residential form here in Tehran’s Fereshteh district, and continues to expand.
